My first Thomas and Friends toy review

MD was a big fan of Thomas and Friends from an early age – It was never hard to find something themed for him for birthday/ Christmas but they were never always ‘age appropriate’ that’s why I love the new range from Rainbow designs.

My First Thomas and Friends comfort blanket –

For ages 0+ this comfort blanket comes with an added teether (Thomas shaped) which can be detached- perfect if it needs cleaning and to allow your little one to grow with it (most kids keep their comfort blankets way after teething stage)

The comfort blanket is so soft (seriously) one side is soft and silky and covered in tiny Thomas’ while the other side is more fleecy and has a picture of Thomas in the middle. The head of the comfort blanket is an adorable Thomas face.

My First Thomas the Tank Engine (soft toy)-

Soft, squishy and absolutely adorable! Like the comfort blanket this is for 0+

The top / body is fleecy and includes all of the design of Thomas we know and love (including his number 1 and friendly smile) the bottom / wheels is a different material (i don’t know what to call it) and has the wheel printed on which makes a smooth texture.

I’m not sure if I want the soft Thomas to have a rattle of some sort inside? I think it would hold a little Ones attention more but I quite like that it’s just a nice ‘teddy’ to cuddle at night too. Which would you prefer?

Overall I love both of them, they both contain texture which little ones love and they look so sturdy (which we always need when buying for kids)

These would be perfect for any little one who has bigger siblings that love Thomas – it will help to stop them wanting to snatch the bigger ones toys (we hope)

Although they are clearly a branded item I wouldn’t say your little one had to be into the show to enjoy them – the bright colours and different textures should keep your little one entertained (for a few minutes at least?)

Until the next post,

Are and Pops.

We were sent the Thomas and Friends for the purpose of this review, all opinions are our own.
