We were invited along to the Lush bloggers event where they showed off all their new (and old) Christmas range.
I absolutely love Lush so when I got the invite (and confirmed I could bring pops) I was so excited, the dress code was Christmas which made it even more amazing!
When the doors opened we were greeted by amazing snacks from Atma (vegan and vegetarian -amazing) and drinks, lovely smiley staff and the glorious smell that is Lush.
Having pops there I didn’t really get to speak to many other bloggers or get as involved with it all but thanks to Rosie (our personal lush lovely) we had an amazing little experience of our own. We tested out the bubble Wands, loads of bombs, had a jiggle of Santa’s belly and got to make some things out of fun (the dough type bath stuff)
We had an amazing time and all of the staff (especially Rosie) We’re so nice to pops and I didn’t feel like a nuisance bringing her at all (although I probs was haha)
I started off the night knowing what I liked in Lush and after seeing lots of the new stuff and being shown things I wouldn’t usually go for i have now got new favourites.
I didn’t end up buying anything on the night, mainly because they were going to be gifts so I’m going to wait until a bit closer to the time so I don’t have to store them all (aka use them because I have no will power)
The things I liked the most ;
Butterbear bath bomb–
He’s so cute and smells so lovely, pops has since used one and it’s super soft with the coco butter inside but a little boring after seeing all the colourful ones – a great one for babies. I’ve seen they do the same thing in a ball shape incase adults want to use it, although there’s nothing stopping you using the bear 😉
Rose Jam Bubbleroon – I have to thank Rosie for my new fondness of rose jam, I was very much a snow fairy girl (I guess I’m both now) the bubbleroon smells incredible and I desperately want to try it.
Northern lights bomb– going to see the northern lights is on my wish list and although this isn’t exactly that the colours it makes as it melts are lovely (not so much the after colour) I can’t actually remember what it smelled like now though. Is it worth the pretty melting then? Hmm.
Elf on the shelf and Snow Fairy fun – they’re both so cute and smell amazing, the elf on the shelf is more traditionally Christmas because of the colours but the snow fairy one just screams Lush Christmas and it’s pretty and pink which a lot of kids will love!
Bubble bar reusable wands– they have such a great range of them this year including the pretty pink magic wand, the jester and the Christmas dinosaur. When I first saw them I was going to definitely buy one if not more for pops but after seeing her use them I just don’t think they’re great for kids (well her age anyway) the sticks are pretty flimsy and I don’t think she’d get that you only use a little and then save the rest, she’d want to play with it until it completely disappeared- I guess she could but for the price i would prefer to get a few uses out of it haha.
I’m definitely going to pop in a get a few of the Christmas range and a few old favourites for someone special (me)
What are your favourite Lush products?
Until the next post,
Are and Pops .
We were invited along to the event but wasn’t asked to write about it, we just loved it so much we wanted too!
